So, it is time to sit down and lay out what my goals are for next year.
There's so much to choose from. Where do I want to focus my energies? And what price do I want to pay to do it?
The coming end of this year stirs a feeling of anticipation:
What is this new year, 2008, going to be like?
Will it be a year of triumph and achievement?
Or will it be a year of struggle, solitude, and growth?
Either can be good. I'm looking forward to the coming year.
What are *you* planning for 2008?

Returning to work. (I've been on maternity leave for the last year. Not as much fun as it sounds.)
I'm really looking forward to returning to work, even though it has it's own challenges.
This year it's a matter of financial survival (four kids still in day care). And there's a porch to be built (maybe).
I have no concrete goals, though, perhaps to stay the course, and, if able, work towards better health.
Oh, well, then there's have more fun. ;-)
@Richgold:
Being able to stay the course is a big goal, and a worthy one. Keep at it, you can do it!
